"BORDEAUX" are an acoustic duo hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Forming early 2006 with a vision to bring their unique blend of Rock & Pop, wrapped up in a chilled-back rootsy feel to the masses.The delicate yet powerful vocals of Veronika combined with the intricate fretwork of Kristian produces a picture of emotion and honesty, that keeps you wanting more.Having gigged extensively over the past 2 years, including support slots for several local acts ( 'Tourist', 'College Fall', 'Blanche Dubois, 'The Woodenelves'... ) , they have acquired a loyal following and continue to wow crowds with their dynamic live shows.After recording demos in their home-studio, Bordeaux realized they wanted the feel of a full band to back the songs so they headed into Revolver Sound Studios to record there first EP "For The First Time Today" July '06'. Released to strong support from local radio stations including Twin Cities ( 89.7fm ), RTR ( 92.1fm ) and Radio Fremantle ( 107.9 ).Also garnering support from local TV station Acess 31, they were asked to perform on 'The Couch' to celebrate their 200th episode. This also lead to a invite back to perform on the 'Wake Up WA' program. This was recorded at Soundbaker Studios and again got a full band into the studio to re-create the full sound that the songs deserved.
