Greetings
My name is Wayne Wizdom. I am a singer-songwriter/producer currently residing in Hackney East London. My style of music is a fusion of Reggae Hip-hop and R&B that translates the reality of the streets and in some ways life in general. I have been circulating in the music scene throughout the UK performing in clubs such as the Hard Rock Café Park Lane, Tiger Tiger Leicester Square and The Shh rooms Leicester Square also radio interviews and promotions. I have had some of my tracks played on Choice FM, such as ‘Stormy Night’ and ‘When The Chips Are Down’.
I was influenced from an early age by music due to the fact that my Father and Uncles were part of a band called the Bedrocks who had a reggae version of a Beatles song that went to Number Fifteen in the Charts in the 70s called Oblah-dee Oblah-dah Life Goes On. I have been working with various artists and Music Teams from the UK, Jamaica and the United States such as Jimmy Haynes, Johnny P (Bike back) Gambler Productions. The tracks on my demo have been described as “Distinctive, captivating and lyrically powerful.†I would say that I am generally an outgoing, good-humoured artist with a real passion and love for music.
My talent has gained me recognition and involvement in sponsored projects. I have been featured in the New Nation and Hackney Gazette newspapers and have also been interviewed by Gary Crowley on the BBC documentary ‘Inside Out’ and also on ‘Overload TV’. I have recently performed on stage in Dubai at the Grand Hyatt hotel and have been interviewed by the local radio station (channel Four radio station Dubai) and also whilst in Dubai, I did a food feature for OK Magazine Middle East.
