Greetings, I've been playing guitar for damn near 25 yrs. I also play piano, bass, drums, lap steel, and a little harmonica. Basically, I live to play and record music. I sing and write my own songs as well as contribute on others. I am currently playing with 5 projects (MICHAEL DEAN DAMRON & THEE LOYAL BASTARDS, FUNK SHUI, TREEFROGS, BILZABOBS, & CONCRETE COWBOYS). I had the opportunity to tour with my band TREEFROGS in the 90's in which we played about 10 states on a constant rotation. On the road, we averaged around 20-25 shows a month. I learned a great deal about the music business and wouldn't trade that experience for anything in the world. We played what was to be our 500th and final show to a sold out Crystal Ballroom audience in Portland, OR. Definitely, a great party... I've had the opportunity to share stages with such greats as the DAVID GRISMAN QUINTET, ZERO (Steve Kimock sat in for our entire set, maybe the greatest moment of my career...so far), as of '07 Oregon Country Fair, I'm adding BILL KREUTZMANN, WAR, RUSTED ROOT, FREDDY JONES BAND, EVERCLEAR, the GREYBOY ALLSTARS (possibly the second greatest moment of my career), GOD STREET WINE, LEFT OVER SALMON, not to mention the plethora of the most wonderful talented local musicians that are too many to list, and the list goes on...ok, did I mention BILL KREUTZMANN... I also produce/engineer sound for the local RoadRunner Sound Co. You might see me taking care of business at the Hoarse Choral down at the 'ol Oregon Country Fair. Stop by and say hello and make sure to come down for the after hours party. Geez, did I say that out loud? Oh well, the more the merrier, right.
