I want to give Jesus Christ all the honor, all the glory and all the praise for the salvation of my soul and the forgiveness of all my sins! For close to 20 years of my life I lied, I cheated, I used people, I minipulated people, I sold drugs, I committed crime after crime after crime just to get high on drugs and alcohol! That sinful life I was leading was not only destroying my life but it was destroying the lives of everyone around me! It made me into a horrible husband, a horrible father and someone that I didn't ever want to be! My wife left me, I lost the relationship I had with my kids, I was wondering thru life with no direction and no hope! Until ONE DAY I walked into the doors of the Victory Home in San Antonio, TX and a man began telling me that my problem wasn't drugs or alcohol, he said my problem was sin and Jesus Christ was the answer to all my problems! He told me that Jesus had died for my sins so I could be set free!! I remember thinking "man, when is this man gonna shut up so I can go to sleep", You see when I went to the Victory Home it wasn't to change, I had nowhere else to go and I was running from the cops but something happened! As I began to go to the classes and hear the message of the cross and hear about all the things Jesus had done for me I found myself praying, reading the bible, the things of God became interesting to me. The first church service at the Victory Temple I remember crying out to God and telling Him that I was tired of my life! I was ready for a change and that if you can change and use my life then do it! I surrender! It was right then that the love of God came upon me! It was like a ton of bricks was lifted off my shoulders! Its been 8 months since I walked into the Victory Home and God has became real to me! Its been 8 months since I haven't drank any alcohol, done any drugs, smoked any cigarettes, committed any crimes and I owe it all to Jesus Christ! Right now Jesus has me in the academy at the Victory Home, hes using my life to encourage and take care of the new guys that comew into the home, he has me working in the office, encouraging others in the home, He has me going out to the streets of cities all over Texas lifting up the name of Jesus! Letting others know that there is hope and that hope is in Jesus Christ!!! He has also placed a calling in my life to get trained in the academy at the home so I can go out and open up the doors to a home to lost souls ready to change in whatever city and whatever country Jesus wants me to go to!! The most important thing Jesus is doing in my life is He's building a strong relationship with Him, a relationship I've never had before! Thats why I give Jesus Christ all the Honor, all the Glory and all the Praise!!
