We can't choose how we die but we can choose how we live

About Me

layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotCommentsI am a 23 year old female who is trying to get my life on track and moving forward. I currently work as a manager in a restaurant and truly love my job. I love the interaction with people and doing something fun and a little different everyday. I am a complete neat freak and perfectionist. Sometimes it works to my advantage, other times is doesn't. I like to constantly be on the move, whether it's working everyday, cleaning the house, going to the gym....When I relax I love to watch movies and read (i'm kind of a dork). I am on the on-again, off-again program for school to be an English teacher (currently off) and am most excited about interacting with kids and trying to open their minds to something different, and letting books and novels make an impact in their lives like my teachers have done for me. (Told you I was a dork). There's really not much to say. Part of me wishes I could go on and on about wild parties, college experiences, goin' crazy and wildin' out but that's just not me. When I go out, I go to have a good time and mostly to DANCE!!! I do drink, but mostly to get buzzed not drunk and when I do it's usually Stoli Razz,Appletinis, or my new fav: strawberry marg on the rocks with tres and coin! Mostly I am a complete work-a-holic who gets satisfaction from doing my job well and being able to support myself. I am a constant ball of stress just trying to chill out and enjoy life. So far, so good....

My Interests

I love movies, to read, skiing, hanging out with friends, love going out dancing, spending time with my fam...

I'd like to meet:

Anyone worth talking to. Be real and say what you mean, DON'T BE FAKE!!!!! And I really do think mean people suck. There is enough bullshit in this world without the idiots who think they are better than everyone else, putting others down.

Music:

I listen to anything and everything. My fav would have to be rock. A close second is country...yes, country. I love techno, especially when I'm a little buzzed and think I can dance to it. I love the energy of it. Classic rock is a fav as well.
MyProfileVideos

Movies:

I like movies that are not the typical hollywood plot. I like watching independent films because of the diversity and you don't know how it will end. I hate the boy meets girl plot: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back and they live happily ever after. How cliche. Some movies I have found kickass are: Boys Don't Cry, Fight Club, American History X, V for Vendetta, Goodfellas, We Were Soldiers, Braveheart, The Patriot, and The Breakfast Club are favs of mine, The Matrix, Saw (the original is still the best), The Hills Have Eyes (It takes a lot to make me squimish, but this movie down right disturbed me at parts), and many more I can't think of right now....

Television:

I don't watch too much TV...don't have the time. But I will watch Law and Order religiously!! SVU is my fav and I have probably seen every episode. Twice.

Books:

I read a lot of different things, but I would say the one piece of work that has had the most impact on me is not a book, but a play. Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller was one of the most eye opening pieces of literature that I've read, for personal reasons.

Heroes:

My mom would definitely be at the top of the list. I believe I get my work ethic from her.
