Yin Yang Music was created by Pete Crotty in June 2006 in the hope of developing a networking system for local solo acoustic artists, contribute services to the community and to raise awareness to the public about the real war that’s going on.. In times of war it seemed as if there was nothing we could do. Our government had complete control over the situation and left us powerless. The reality though is that the war is not overseas…the war is In every individual that was created at the beginning of time when civilization and societal roles were created...We need to start to take action and learn how to create peace within ourselves …The balance of the Yin Yang is a reminder that each of us need to look deep into ourselves, find out who we are, and seek to create this harmonious balance within ourselves.
Yin Yang also has been serving the community by playing various shows to help local coffee shops, community centers and other local charities. The name Yin Yang was chosen because of the symbolic reference that to gain peace through the world each sex needs to identify w/both sexes and recognize the necessity of balance. Therefore the group is divided by 5 female artists and 5 male artists featuring Ratboy, Meryl Joan Lammers, eddi.., Daniel Bioardi, Johnny Wang, Salix, Nick Collins, Pete Laffin, Quitzow and Ella Kondrat. Yin Yang will invite a new female and male guest every event.
