About Me
My name is Barry Brandt. I am a professional SAG/AFTRA/AEA actor, model, singer, host, stunt performer, precision driver, technical advisor, American Red Cross certified professional rescuer & lifeguard, and distinguished scholar. I am also a producer, director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and photographer. I travel to Southern California, Southern Nevada, New York City, Central Florida, South Florida, and Australia for work in the entertainment industry.I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA)degree in Performing Arts (Acting/Producing/Directing/Stage Combat/Voice/Movement)and a minor in Theatre from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am currently working on my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Performing Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.One of my many goals is to eventually teach acting, voice, and movement at the university level, as well as to continue my career as a successful professional working character actor.I am also the executive producer and host of a half-hour public affairs television program titled Community Crossroads that is broadcast on Ion Television, which was formerly known as the Pax Channel.My motto and theory on life in general is that we only live once on this earth so we better damn well enjoy, cherish, and live life to the fullest! I am also a strong believer that we will live on for eternity in spirit in the kingdom of heaven after our time eventually ends here on earth!
