About Me

A Mom, a wife, a singer, a songwriter, a friend, a sister, the list goes on. I've loved music since I was a child and continue to love it each and every day. My early years were spent singing in school choirs, and it's when I hit college that I met some very special friends who gave me a chance to spread my wings. I minored in music in college and studied with a wonderful Philadelphia singer and vocal coach, Wendy Simon. Later on I had the opportunity to study with the famous Don Lawrence, vocal coach to Christina Aguilera and Sebastian Bach just to name a few. I finally started writing over the last ten years and got a lot of inspiration from my great friend Tina. I eventually sang with her band and it's there that I think I finally starting gaining real confidence as a singer, writer and performer. And playing with an all girl band was an absolute blast! We played CBGB's , the Mercury Lounge and some other great seedy rock clubs in New York. Memories of a life time. After taking a few years off to have my amazing kids, my very good friend Dan gave me a call and got me back on the saddle again singing for a cover band and writing our own material. Now life is all about the juggling and spinning plates. Finding time to practice and write while trying to be the best mother I can be. It's really hard sometimes, but definitely worth it. I've started doing some solo gigs just to help give me a little nudge to finish my songs and get out there. They say you get one life, and I'm about squeezing all those dreams in. Next up, is recording some really good new songs...wish me luck.

Smack dab in the middle of January, I'm still feeling pretty ambitious about 2008. Usually I overwhelm myself by this time.  I'm thinking I need to just pace myself and keep my eye on the prize. ...
