I am a music club promoter, guitar player for The Diplomats of Solid Sound(a Hammond B3 instrumental soul-jazz, funk band) and The Bent Scepters(a garage rock combo). I am currently setting up my own LLC. The new company will be called "Mr. Kicks Productions." I also spin soul and funk records occasionally at clubs in Iowa City under the moniker "Soul Patrol" or "Summer Soul Spin." Starting May 13 I will be DJing with "The Count" at The Mill(120 E. Burlington St / Iowa City) every 2nd and 4th Wednesday starting at 10pm. No cover and cheap booze!
