MASACA is a rapgroup consisting of 2 MC's, Cidashfo and ACA. The name MASACA is a combination of their initials: Martinho Antonio Soares and Adirio Christian Almeida. Together they write English-Speaking raps and their motivation for this choice is pretty obvious. Just like their music the language is universal and they want it to be heard and sensed all over the world. Their lyrics are oral illustrations of what they see, feel and experience in life. They stand for everything that is real and respect talent and hard work. Therefore MASACA is not only the name of the group, but also a lifestyle. Before MASACA started, Cidasfo and ACA were part of another group called Ruff Rugged and Raw. This formation consisted of three rappers (Cidashfo, ACA and D-nitro) that was formed in 2001. In 2002 the group parted ways due to differences in goals and visions. In 2003 Cidashfo and ACA formed MASACA. Because of a busy school schedules they had to put their music plans on hold. For over a year now they have only been writing lyrics and creating new concepts for future songs. Times have changed now. With an arsenal of lyrics, concepts and innovative production they contain enough musical qualities to make history. The realism in their style makes it relatable to a mass audience. Their philosophy and vision sets the difference between them and other artists. One must have more than only a listening ear, because MASACA offers "More than just music" ... So get ready! ..
