Hello, My name is Alic Stone, and I happen to be a musician as well as a human being. My music is not just a hobby, it is my passion, it's my dream. I have been writing music since I was 13, and have made over 400 songs.
Anyways, less about my lame music and more about me. I love to talk to people, meet new people, have interesting conversations... I am not here looking for love, but if it happens, it happens, really... I believe that everything happens for a reason. I think their is a higher power, but I am not sure who he/she is. I dislike religion, it divides people, as I do with politics, they are just distractions from the real beauty of the world. I am really into existentialism, and I think it will become more acceptable as time goes on. I believe that I am, above all, ultimately responsible for all I do and what decisions I make. I am here to create my own meaning, my own purpose in my own life. I want to become well known, not really famous, but well known to people around the world. Even though I may not like myself very much, I do believe in myself. I have a dream, I have a passion and I believe...
I am fascinated with art, everything can be put into art, anything can be made into art. I see the world as a plateau of potential. I am a pretty artsy guy, all my photo's are done in a way to express myself, how I am feeling, and for you to get a better understanding of where I come from without even needing to speak with me. I guess that is one of my goals, is to get people to know me before they even speak to me... Through my photo's and my words I can achieve this within the boundaries of the human condition. I used to be into psychology, until I figured out it was mostly the ability to play mind games with people. It was a bit of a let down, with the whole DSM-IV being the standard for everyone! Making everyone into a category, I just don't believe it is right to do that to people.
My thoughts on life are simple. I try not to take my life too seriously, try to have fun while I am still young. I love people, but only those who understand what real love is, not intimate love no, love. You can love a friend, and they can love you back, it doesn't have to be any more complicated than that. I am talking about love in general. What is life without love?
I am not here to judge you, and don't be scared. I am here to try and spread my music as far as I can, take it as medicine. When you are happy, sad, depressed or whatever you may be feeling, my music is there for you. Enjoy it. I tend to get a little rebellious, but not so much since I have grown up a little bit. I am 19, turning 20 in October of this year, and I want to calm down a bit... I am thinking about furthering my education, settling down in my own place, not partying so much and staying focused on my goals...
