Influences: ...the many types of dead wood and wounds found on living trees, including heart rot, rot holes, sap runs and decaying roots in music; the use of pure reed instrumentation of the mind but of the grass variety. This strain of local wildlife live in Leigh on Sea in the south east of England where they are influenced by the tidal action of the Thames Estuary and drink. They try listening to the radio but, owing to a sporadic reception in the area, frequently find themselves poised on the junction between two frequencies. For this reason, their exposure to contemporary music is confused and the resulting output is a mixed-up, mashed-up, calamitous influence of ska, reggae, folk, punk and urban.
Sounds Like: sounds worth repeating.
