About Me

I was born an original and won't die a copy. I love life and try to live it as best as I can.
In my short time on this earth I've had 6 girlfriends, I've lived in 12 homes (2 mths+)one in a sky scraper, one on a beach and one with a lottery winner, been to 11 countries, been in a Bollywood film and on Chinese TV, worked more as a volunteer than an employee, was a major witness in a trial that put someone away for 3 years, bought six awful cars, been best man twice, had 22 different jobs and made a very large shed load of good friends. But! As Oasis once sang, it's the little things that make me so happy.
Happiest moments: Being with nephew
Saddest moment: Writing a report about the families who lost their children in the Boxing Day Tsunami.
Most teary eyed moment: Liverpool losing 88/89 title in the last game to Arsenal.
Biggest lesson learnt: Trust God.
Favourite quote: If you can't tolerate something, change it.
50 year plan: World domination.

I like this guy! (Even though he's dead)

"The matter is quite simple. The Bible is very easy to understand. But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers. We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minu...

A new kind of old kind of Christian

For the past few months as a few of you would know I've been looking at what church and more importantly what a Christian is. I've looked in the mirror and haven't liked what I've seen. (And looking ...

Don't make 'em like they used to

Being watching a couple of golden oldie films last few weeks. 12 Angry men, Paths of Glory, Third Man, Lord of the flies. You get so used to generic Hollywood stuff and you forget what a real story is...

Wilberforce

I just wanted to say he was more and did more than the film portrayed. I went to see the film late last night and though it was decent and it did have a number of facts of the matter, it missed out so...

Hot Fuzz

I don't usually but just wanted to say... What a film! Sooooo good! Best film I've seen for a while. They've done the same thing to the Action genre they did for the Zombie genre. But with better cast...

On church...

I'm gonna start a church. Yes, its not a weird and twisted typo, I've had this decision to make for a while and my mind is finally made up. I want to see a church in the valley for people that do...

On the beautiful game...

I have to say it amazes me how much I like the beautiful game. Watching Liverpool, fantasy football and playing (finally). I played a training game for the first time in probably 18 mths-2 years and i...

On India...

Thought I'd just write something about India, as I have a few photos up now. After the Boxing Day Tsunami I decided to go out and help them rebuild. As a friend often said 'If you can't tolerate somet...
