Ende 2003 - als DSDS gerade zum ersten mal das deutsche Fernsehen mit Castingmüll überschwemmte, als der Liter Sprit noch knapp nen Euro kostete, als der Pluto noch ein Planet war - dachten sich vier junge Leute: Scheiß doch drauf! Wir gründen ne Band!
Mit Stefan an den Drums, Marcus am Bass, Thomas an der Gitarre und Anna am Gesang machten sie sich also auf, um unter dem nichtssagenden Namen "d-tuned radio" die Bühnen Thüringens und Deutschlands zu rocken. Ihr Musikstil – den sie selbst liebevoll „englischsprachigen Rock“ nennen – könnte man als eine gelungene Mischung aus OldSchool-Elementen, Punk-Einflüssen und jeder Menge treibenden Rock beschreiben.
Wie gesagt: Man KÖNNTE! Denn in eine Schublade lassen sie sich sicher nicht stecken! Fernab vom ganzen "Alternative-Crossover-Experimental-Indie"-Gejammer machen sie vor allem eines: Gute Musik!
Nach vierjähriger Zusammenarbeit, intensivem Bandlebens und dem ersten offiziellen Album "the cowbell conspiracy" in den Läden, ist nicht zu überhören, dass sich auch ihre Musik weiterentwickelt hat. Der Sound ist vielschichtiger geworden, die Songs experimenteller und rockiger.
Ãœberzeugt euch doch selbst davon, kommt zu ihren Gigs und ihr werdet bald sehen - THEY WILL ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!

End of 2003 - when a German version of American Idol overflew television for the first time, when fuel did cost about one Euro, when Pluto was still a planet - four young people thought to themselves: Fuck this shit! We make up a band!
Stefan at the drums, Marcus playing bass guitar, Thomas playing guitar and Anna as singer hit the road to rock the Thuringian and German Stages under the name of "d-tuned radio". Their music - they themselves call it "anglophone rock" - could be described as a well done mixture of oldschool elements, punk influences and loads of driving rock.
As already said: It COULD! Because they don't want to get pigeonholed. Far from all these pseudo-Alternative-Crossover-Experimental-Indie-stuff they first of all do one thing: Play good music!
After four years of cooperation and band life and with their first album "the cowbell conspiracy" in stores one couldn't miss that also their music has advanced. The sound is more complex now and the songs become more experimental and rocking.
