I'd like to meet:
I may be a little flirty, but I'm also very taken, engaged to be exact. And I spend so much on my fiancee that doing anything to ruin things between would be a pretty terrible financial decision. Okay, okay, I love her too. Now that said, I'm a pretty decent internet friend, and I can give some killer advice on just about anything...for instance, did you know that the dot above an "i" is called a "tittle"? I think I saw that on TV, but I still claim it as my info. So don't hesitate to drop me a line (especially old friends), myspace gives me something to do when all I feel like doing is sitting around and listening to music...so it makes me a more productive person, and I figure that's better than less productive...I guess.
Music:
When it comes to music, you'll be hard pressed to find something I don't like. I can save you a little work by saying that most modern rap (2001 and forward) just doesn't do anything for me. And depending on which music cycle you catch me, country might not be on the playlist. I find that country tends to get overplayed on a 1.5 month cycle. So it’s great for a bit, but soon needs a little rest to refresh itself.
Other than that, everything can find a place on my playlist. I find that the music I like has developed itself based on events I have lived. Meaning that the music I primarily listen to, I listen to because it evokes a certain feeling I want/ need at a certain moment. So more power to it.
I guess this is where I list what I listen to, what music is most worthwhile. For me, I’d recommend a lot of different stuff. I’m huge on Pink Floyd. The Darkside of the Moon is probably my favorite album (yes I have multiple copies, from studio, to live, to original vinyl). It’s one of those albums that I’m unable to listen to part of, it’s all or nothing. I like to relax, kill the lights, and let it play. It never hurts to be a little drunk too, because let’s face it, we’re all a little more deep when we’re drunk. I could go on for a while about why I like Pink Floyd, but I won’t waste your time. If you want information / suggestions of records to buy, let me know.
Other artists that I always find myself coming back to: Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Tupac, Matt Nathanson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, Buddy Guy, GnR, Zeppelin, Nine Inch Nails, and Simon & Garfunkel. Of course, it’s not hard to look at that list and figure what I was going through (and when). Today, it’s not about what I’m going through, but what I was going through. I can’t say what music I’m into at any one moment, because it literally changes by the second. So I’m just going to throw up the artists that make up the playlist I’m listening to now (I’ll put up each artist as many times as he/she appears).

Television:
"I could fucking care less if everybody downloads our album off the Internet. We're not in a position to be screwed by that at all. We have the one thing the Internet can't touch -- live music. If you can actually go out and play your fucking instruments, you won't be replaced by the Internet. If you're a good live act and you put on a good show, people will buy a ticket to see your show." -Jon Fishman
Heroes:
You Are Rum
You're the life of the party, and a total flirt
You are also pretty picky about what you drink
Only the finest labels and best mixed cocktails will do
Except if you're dieting - then it's Diet Coke and Bicardi all the way
What alcoholic drink are you?
