I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm the most well-rounded nerd you'll ever meet. I've played in national chess tournaments and gotten drunk with famous platinum-selling musicians. I've bartended red-carpet affairs and played poker with world-class Pokemon players. I've hung out with pro athletes and I still geek out when I watch old episodes of the Transformers. I cover all the bases.I'd like to think of myself as "Worldly"... and pretty fun, assuming you're smart enough to grab a serious dose of acerbic, vitriolic wit... I don't dish it out any other way.I have a son named Braeden, born June 15, 2007. He's back in Rockford, and that's for the best. Until I'm the man I need to be to provide fully, from an educational/professional standpoint, he's in good hands. I love him with all my heart, and miss him dearly... But I do what I can for now, and I hope he'll understand.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People I once knew. That's why I got on here in the first place. Catching up with old friends, and keeping up with current ones I can't see everyday. I'm an introvert to an extent... but get me to open up, and I don't ever stop talking. Ask my friends- they'll vouch.

My Blog

How I voted and why... Surprises abound!

Today was truly a monumental day for this country, no matter how the election turned out.  You could tell for months that it would be.  Despite being a registered Republican, I took far...

Despondent if this was all I had...

It's been about 8 hours since the Cubs shit themselves out of the playoffs. Being in the southwestern part of the US, I've come across a significant number of LA fans that have taken ample opportunity...
