I started buying vinyl when i was 15 and when i was 16 i caught the dj bug and began to take it seriously and learnt to beatmatch and mix. At 17 i was one of 24 djs chosen to be in the radio 1 under 18 dj search and was the only dj from the north east in the competition. After this i began to record regular mixes and pass them out to all my friends and local dj's and clubs at first it was hard to be taken seriously as i wasnt old enough to get in the clubs but i kept on at it and got a break.
