At the age of 16 he was a well known street hustla in his project neighborhood Parkview cts.where he came in contact with Big Baby who was also a street hustla, they put there heads together and decided they wanted to rap, they went out and bought digital recorders, a mic and a keyboard and from there they put out there first tape just for the streets of Jackson. The tape was name Unda Groun Huzlas. Little did they know in a few years they would be getting a distribution deal. After there first tape they decided to focus on something bigger when P.I.M.P decided to do a solo album. (GHETTO MATERIAL). He recorded the album and there after they had a distribution deal out of Texas by the name of Southwest Wholesales. The album went on to sell great , and it also opened doors for his next album. After that P.i.m.p and Big Baby drop there album called (GHETTO HUZLIN) and it did real big and the album didnt have any distribution deal. So while Big Baby was in the studio P.i.m.p drop his next big thing called (Too Nation Ta Go Local). (And it has some major features HAYSTAK,SKINNY PIMP,GANGSTA BLAC).The album quickly gained national attention and spawned the street single "Hataz On Da Town" featuring Haystak. The album sold over 8,000 copies independently. P.i.m.p is known for his style of lyrics and for recently finishing his street ranked best album(STREET HUSTLA). P.i.m.p is the first person to release a national album out of Jackson Tn. and credits his success to his Brother Slick Vick for always telling him to keep atit' (R.I.P). Slick Vick also helped P.i.m.p's career by always donating something when it was time to press up an album . P.i.m.p has also been credited for his lyrics by Pastor Troy, Haystak, Dj Squeeky, Skinny Pimp, Mr. Mike, Gangsta Blak,Murder Dog Magazine, Street Masters Magazine, and among others.)
Standing firmly on the foundation of the growing Jackson,Tn. rap scene, P.I.M.P's powerful voice – whether viciously dominating the mic or blowing smooth vocals – delivers a freshman effort that rivals the honesty and grit of many of down south legends.
