COOMASSIE

Update:

Coomassie is a London-based,musique concrete inspired, pioneering bass-music experiment in live dubstep, drum n bass, dance-clash and cinematic rock.

Led by multi-instrumentalist sound designer and composer / producer, Christiano Sossi, this project which started out as a one-month experiment in chance-songs and has developed into a full-blown album full of memorable tunes and heavy breaks.

For a short time only, the unmixed songs are up here on myspace for you to enjoy but keep posted for the full launch in 2010.

Currently the album features Nat Chan on the co-mix, Mathis Richet on drums, Joe Driscoll on guitar and vocals, Bella Gibbins on vocals, Evi Vine on guitar, Gronk on piano and vocals, Ashley Casselle in on the mix, Ruderalis on vocals, Rob Blake on guitar, Kobi Israelite on accordion, Greg Wizard also in on the co-mix, ..Ruderalis on rhymes, Bridge Fazio on vocals and Sabina Challenger on vocals. More artists are joining in with this album looking like it will be one of 2010's defining independent releases.

Christiano is currently joining his friends in Embed and The London Punks, on bass and vocals...
