My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.joeferrymusic.com
Band Members: JOE FERRY: BASS. CYRILLE: VOCALS. BRETT TUBIN: GUITAR. JERRY MACK: B-3. STUART STAHR: DRUMS. FRANK WARTINGER: PIANO. SETH FAULK: CONGAS. MATT SIMONS: TENOR SAX. JACLYN FALK: BARITONE SAX. GORDON BARTOW: TROMBONE. GABRIEL JASMINE: TRUMPET. KATIE CHAUVOT: TRUMPET
Influences: I have begun work on my third full length ska album. I have invited the legendary King Django to play on a couple tracks. My friend Brett Tubin, ska keyboardist and guitarist extraordinaire, is playing on the album and as is drummer Phil Wartell of The Radiation Kings. Jon Jetter is engineering. The album will feature my Skarrangments of Mozart's Don Giovanni, which I call Johnny The Don as well as an original tune that I wrote in memory of my friend McCook of The Skatalites, entitled "I Remember Tommy". There will actually be two versions of the tune on the album. One version will be ska with my band and the other, which features Victor Rice on upright bass and myself on guitar, is a jazz ballad that will close the set. The CD will once again be released on Shanty Town Records in the Fall of 2007. Then I will be hitting the road with my band and, hopefully, playing in a town near you.

Sounds Like:SKA...!!!
