Born in 1977, Alessandro Canova is an Italian producer based in Padova, a peaceful city located in North-East Italy which is the setting for most of the action in Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Under the alias "Mugen", Alessandro produced several experimental and ambient-like records using sine waves and white noise as his only sound sources, distributing his works through the self run imprint Pachinkostudio (1999). This led him to perform his live set in Italy, France, UK and Japan across international music festival, art expositions, club and cultural events. After placing the "Mugen" project on hold in 2007, Alessandro started blending abstact sounds and micro melodies over 4/4 electronic rhythms. Influenced by
