About Me

OK, so the sounds you hear on this page have been floating around in my computer for so long now I've become unable to tell whether they're actually any good or not, so I thought I'd stick them on here and get a bit of feedback. I wouldn't class any of them as complete songs really, more just a collection of noises that I thought sounded nice together. Maybe one day I'll put the effort in and turn my audio-doodles into a real musical project, or maybe not. All my music is put together in Fruity Loops, using samples that I've raped and pillaged from a variety of sources, with little or no respect for copyright laws: "(intellectual)property is theft" The first track I've put up contains a sample stolen from the Dogs Die in Hot Cars song 'No one teaches life anything'. I heard the song on a Boots advert and after a short quest to find the song I cut out the riff, fucked it up in various ways and added a beat, in order to create the imaginatively titled 'dogs die in hot cars' You like?? The second track is 'the blind mathematician'. Original piano bit is nicked off pianist/composer Erik Satie, couldn't tell you what the song's called though. No idea where I was going with this one, and the levels need some serious sorting out, but otherwise I quite like it... And now for something completely different I made the tune for 'Spastic semi-colon' myself (as opposed to stealing it off someone else), and as of yet I haven't decided if it's one of my best, or one of my stupidest. Possibly both. I wanted to make a tune I could dance to, and I reckon in that respect I succeeded. Mind you, I'll dance to pretty much anything. NEW TRACK:Me and Tommy T have been talking about doing something together for a while, and I finally managed to get him plugged into my pooter the other day. This is a rough and ready version (the beat is wack, sorry) of what I think could become a really cool song- I had to put it up in its unfinished state cos I just love the riff. Hopefully the first of many collaborations. Whatchoothink???
