Serving the gay community since 1977,Apollo's Lounge is one the oldest gay bars in Arizona.Starting as Mr. Fat Fingers,the name was changed to Apollo's in 1985 under former owners Bill & Eddie. Lee & Ron purchased the bar in May of 2004 with a vision of great customer service and a space where all were welcomed,hopefully we have achieved that vision! We are proud sponsors of many community organizations including;Body Positive,Cactus City Softball League,Hellraisers Football Team,Imperial Court of Arizona,Phoenix Men's Metropolitan Chorus,and many other great causes that make up our geat Phoenix Community!
We are a neighborhood bar that happens to be gay.Known as a premier karaoke bar here in the valley,over the last couple years we have expanded our horizons to include,drag shows,piano music,male strippers,B-B-Q's,and fud- raisers.We recently did a major renovation and added on a outdoor patio.
