About Me

SOB started around 5 years ago with a mixture of covers and original material. Many local gigs & a change of drummer later, they now have an amazingly large fan base that follow them around the south-west. At the beginning of this year the band decided to take the route of playing their own material & playing live shows. With the covers long gone, SOB have now developed their own sound & become one of the best unsigned bands on this years Festi' circuit. Shows this year include support for the Zutons, New York Dolls & Julian Cope @ the Lost weekend, & Guilfest 2006. The Band also are showcasing for European tour supports with the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs, Artic Monkeys later on in the summer in Germany & Italy. To see SOB live is an experience, with plenty of energy & fun "to & fro'ing" from the band to crowd. Frontman Kev Mcguinness says "playing live to packed audiences is what it's all about, when we play, we are having so much fun, that the crowd have fun as well." he added "its not unknown for some of the audience to jump on stage & join in!". The guys have just secured a production deal with American producer/composer Julie Yount-Morgan who will oversee their debut album & is also in the process of finalising a months tour of the States next year with American songwriter Emmaline Muchmore - www.emmalinemuchmore.com"An exiting band to see live, not to be missed" NME "best thing out of Devon since the M5" HEAT You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
