I am a hairdresser in the little-o-town of Hastings, Michigan.I absolutely love my job.I have wanted to be a hairdresser since middle school when we had to do career reports. Do you guys remember those things? I have the most beautiful niece in the world. Yeah, I know, I am a little biast. She is so much like me, its kind of scary. I never thought you could love someone so much. I cant even imagine what it is like when you have your own. She is seven years old this year. November 3rd. I have some wonderful amazing friends. In that area I am so blessed. I have been invovled in more weddings than I can count. I LOVE weddings. Good thing, huh? I just love to see two people make that commitment, and watch them show how much they love each other to the whole world.

My Interests

Movies:

Favorite movie all time.....The Cutting Edge. I know, I know, cheesy but good!!! Toeeeee Piiiick. For those of you that share my interest. Lots of other great movies though. Dirty Dancing, of course. Titanic, balled my eyes out the first time I watched that. Yah, I'm a girl. (Tom, LOL!!!) Sweet Home Alabama, I could watch over and over and over. Oh wait, I have. He!He! Last but not least, pretty much any Adam Sandler movie.

Television:

I'm not a huge T.V. person but there are a couple of shows that I enjoy when I actually have a chance to watch them. Medium and Nip Tuck. Oh and if I ever get the chance to watch Scrubs, I love that show too! Gotta Love Zach Braff!!

Books:

I love, love, love to read. I can really get into a book. One off the top of my head is Mitch Albums' "The Five People you meet in Heaven". Great quick read. I really enjoy Nicholas Sparks books also. I will pretty much read any book that someone recommends to me. Also, any book that makes you think. Think things about yourself, about life, about choices that you have made or that can take you away from all that also. There's nothing better than a book that can make you self-reflect and make you a better person. In my opinion anyways.

Heroes:

Heroes, well thats a toughie, only because God blessed me with so many. I would have to say some of my best friends' parent's. I havent always had the most dependable parents, but thankfully I had some other rocks to stand on and guide me on my way. The Lambert's, The Krul's, and The Crosthwaite's are my heroes. My "Uncle Ed" from North Carolina.....I miss him. Stubborn ole cuss!!! Definately a hero of mine.
