About Me

I'm from Kinderhook, NY ,"Old Kinderhook", the birthplace of Martin Van Buren and source of the expression OK. I now live in the Nashville area. I'm a member of several different bands including "The Carpet Baggers" with my friend Toast and "The Halsey-Taylord Band" with my East Tennessee Friends. Prior to my joining "The Halsey-Taylord Band" as their keyboard player, I hosted the Thursday night writer's night at Bobby's Idle Hour (1028 16th Ave South, Nashville TN). Influences: Way too many to list. From Josquin des Pres to John Cage. From W.C. Handy to Frank Zappa. Mostly I like Country-Fried Americana with a heapin' side of blues gravy over a gumbo of funk.
