Lesson MC, Luke. Luka, Lukas....Me. I HAVE THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!!!!... providing hip-hop workshops to young Refugees, 'CALD', and Indigenous young people around my sunny state of Queensland. ~check the Blog....meanwhile, in-between workshop contracts, i've coordinated a forum on violence between young people from different backgrounds...doing my bit to make sure Hip-hop isn't getting blamed for violence in our communities..not easy with the beareaucraps...... The forum was like bringing together an ethnic Mortal Combat, without the silicon. Maybe it was more like the noahs arc of cultures, to get them talking to save their communities rather than procreating to save the world....... Somehow though I found a few days to record some new tracks I've been writing, and to work with some nice producers like Mr Daniel Rhodes, Busty Beats and Markos aka Kryptamistic............ My work is pretty eclectic so they all had to put up with some shit: more than a few verses in my other languages, acoustic setups, beat tweaks and drunken last minute ideas like...'I want to sing a chorus on 'The Borders' beatch... I'm comin 'round fuck ya...'. My inspiration lies in all facets of life, family, friends, and community...the mentors and the students.
