About Me

Born December of 1983, Prince "Trigga' Slimm" grew up in New Orleans writing lyrics and rappin' from an early age. The 2nd youngest of 6 kids: 3 oider sisters, 1 older brother, with one younger sister, "Trigga" learned quickly what it meant to hustle and stay on the grind to get ahead. Trigga' Slimm is an original 'Chrisboyz. And for yall who don't know, "da' Chris" is located in Algiers, and is an area in New Orleans called Christopher Holmes Park where it ain't safe to walk the streets at night, ya heard me? Influenced by artists such as Scarface, 2pac, Busta Rhymes, Fiend, B.G. and Juvenile (as well as local favorites like G-Slimm, Tre-8, Joe Blakk, Black Menace, Tim Smooth, Insane,Kane & Abel etc...) Trigga' developed his own unique sound, lyrics and rhyming style that must be fully heard 2 appreciate. Trigga' has been courted by many local labels but he's been perfecting his sound and waiting for that right opportunity. Currently, he's been working on an album for N.O. Refugee Muzik, collaborating with artists like Joe Blakk, T-Tucker (the originator of "bounce muzik") and LiL LiP. He's also been working alongside double-platinum producer David "D. Funk" Faulk (Mystikal, Juvenile, Fiend, George Clinton, Lenny Kravitz, Kane & Abel, PNC, The Ghetto Twiinz, etc...) who has been producing tracks for Trigga's up-and-coming solo debut CD which will be entitled "Da Prince of Da' Chris". Keep your eyes and ears out for it! Check back at this page often for more updates, music, show dates and other related information on Trigga' Slimm. Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0
