I am here for Friends

About Me

October 14, 2007:

I stumbled upon a European street painter the other day and I asked him to paint what he saw in me so I could use it for my about me section:=-/
What the hell am I supposed to make of this?
He was French. ..Is that the problem?
Can anyone interpret this for me!?
You can rest assured that I didn't give him a single dime!

Okay, delete this silliness. Think of it as picking up the trash off the beach. Once you do that, you can leave your own trash on this here beach guilt free and post it so I can laugh at your silly garbage.

My Interests

Just to enjoy myself, and to learn about and experience you and our place here. I'm up for doing just about anything, but my favorite things are being with the people I love and laughing my bum right off my body. I am painfully eager to find the right girl who feels the same way and sings along with me as we play through the days.

I don't try to imagine a personal God; it suffices to stand in awe at the structure of the world, insofar as it allows our inadequate senses to appreciate it.
-Albert EinsteinThe surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher regard those who think alike than those who think differently.
-Friedrich Nietzsche
If things are ever to move upward, someone must be ready to take the first step, and assume the risk of it. No one who is not willing to try charity, to try non-resistance as the saint is willing, can tell whether these methods will or will not succeed. When they do succeed, they are far more powerfully successful than force or worldly prudence. Force destroys enemies; and the best that can be said of prudence is that it keeps what we already have in safety. But non-resistance, when successful, turns enemies into friends; and charity regenerates its objects.
-William James
I, for one, hope that youth will again revolt and again demoralize the dead weight of conformity that now lies upon us.
-Howard M. Jones
The religion of one age is the literary entertainment of the next.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

My Blog

So a few events at the Ella Minnow show last Monday

reminded me of the sobering thought that I need to make my departure from a lot of my old friends more permanent. This time not so much for my sake as for theirs. Unfortunately for them, my living arr...

Pt 2: My metamorphosis more fully realized ..and yet another night of 2 hours of sleep

I once served all I could of myself for the illusion of a returned love. I served a God who loved me unconditionally. I focused on that love, and used it to empower my love in return. A harmony that w...
