About Me

Cody Spanbauer lives in Boise, Idaho. He has been involved in slam for more than 4 years. He placed 2nd in the state finals in '06, and is a two time member of Team Boise (Idaho's ONLY Slam Team) for both the 2006 and 2007 nationals in Austin, Texas. You may have seen him in many different poetry events, from on stage at Boise Pride '06, and '07, to helping Cheryl Maddalena run the children's "Yell Well" workshop at the Saturday Market. Along with other members of Team Boise he's done poetry workshops for disadvantaged youth at the Boys & Girls Club, and represented Boiseans in different regional competitions in other cities, including Seattle, Bellingham, Salt Lake City, and Denver. He has three CD's available, including his debut CD "Harmless".
