My name is Igor.
I was born on the day the first oil through the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System reached Valdez.
The socialist education system demanded of the children to be perfected in all fields of technology, and planted higher ideals in them.
So when I was a kid I wanted to become an astronaut.
I became a sound engineer / mixer.
Comparing the number of control knobs and buttons, it's as close as you can get.
I discovered early that my brain resonates good with heavy riffs, and that phenomenon still hasn't lost its intensity.
I always search for the meaning of life.
During that time I'm either in the studio, or I'm speeding through Europe, chasing festivals and bands.
I've met most of the idols from my youth, and the greatest joy is to enter their backstage and see that terrified face: "Oh no, not him again!"
I like wide open spaces, architecture, open road and wide blue sky.
I like freedom of movement, thought and spirit.
I like fast solos, fast bikes and fast cars.
I like heavy music, and heavy food.
Someday I'll be old and demented, and gasoline will be illegal.
Someday, fire will come and wipe us all out.
