HIEROPHANT

N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N(hy-roe-fent): "Revealer of Sacred Mysteries". The heavy metal band Hierophant was founded by guitarist, Ace. In early November, 2003, at the age of fifteen, she took to the electric guitar with such ease and caught on very quickly. Within a year, she began the search along with her older brother, Sky, who loves music as well. Sky soon discovered that he had a unique talent in operatic metal singing and they soon started writing music together. So, Ace and Sky, as the heart and soul of Hierophant, began their search for talented and dedicated musicians. Soon, Hierophant exploded into the public scene after Ace won the 2006 Guitar Wars competition, sponsored by Alamo Music. This winning brought much notoriety and attention to Hierophant. She was the first female to win first place in the electric guitar category in the eighteen years of the competition and she was the only female finalist. Hierophant was very well received and liked by the public and in great demand with their mesmerizing and captivating performances. The first line-up was extremely talented, but now its time to upgrade and re-group with a more image conscious look. The band has not settled for just talented, which has made the search extremely challenging. The next three members will be chosen and will not disappoint Hierophant fans.
