HankFest

HankFest is an annual event honoring the life & music of Hank Williams, Sr. "All Hank - All Nite" is the battle cry for this great event. Although performers are welcome to play in any style they wish, there is only one rule: Every song played must be one that was performed and/or recorded by Hank Williams.Based in Chicago, HankFest has featured some of Chicago's best bands, musicians and chefs. It is also responsible for the creation of the "Ghost Writers In The Sky" International Songwriting Contest, where songwriters submit new, original songs written in the style of 'ol Hank (more info at www.GWITSContest.com.)
