ANGEL LINDBERGH

About Me

If you think today Christian music has lost some of its authenticity, then independent artist Angel Lindbergh’s latest offering will give you reason to rejoice. A gifted singer and songwriter, Lindbergh bridges the gap between her southern gospel roots and the more contemporary sounds of today.
Her 2003 release, ’How Far Have We Fallen?’ introduced her to a worldwide audience and garnered her global critical acclaim from Texas all the way to Sydney, Australia. As fans from all over Europe and the United States will tell you, Lindbergh offers a powerhouse combination of vocals and songwriting that provide a toe-tapping and often heartwarming appeal.
The daughter of two Pentecostal ministers, Lindbergh brings a country sound that is steeped in her humble Louisiana roots and strong Christian upbringing. From singing in church as a girl to writing an award-winning Christian musical, "The Mercy Seat," Lindbergh has laid the groundwork for her success.
She’s best known as an artist who has achieved worldwide crossover appeal. Her songs have been broadcast not only on domestic Christian music stations, but also charted on many country format stations abroad.
When it comes to making music, Lindbergh understands the importance of tradition, while also appealing to a younger generation. Angel, her daughter Lacey and her husband Mark served as youth ministers. Together they led an award-winning theatrical drama team of singers and musicians. (2005 - 2008) Currently, The Lindbergh’s are leading Crossroads Ministry. This ministry is organizing and participating in county wide youth events. Crossroads Ministry meets every Thursday night for youth services at the local skating rink.
Indeed, through her expanded ministry, Lindbergh keeps her finger on the pulse of today’s Christian youth. Her sophomore effort delivers music that transcends the generations. Lindbergh’s music touches the hearts, minds and souls of all ages, from rural grandmothers to awkward suburban teenagers. Her sound blends grassroots Americana folk music with the country twang of southern gospel.
Since 1990, Lindbergh has lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, focusing on her music and ministries. While songwriting is her passion, Lindbergh also enjoys playing the piano and performing everywhere from local churches to rodeos, revivals and coffeehouses. She is a member of the Southern Gospel Music Association of Texas, BMI and has appeared on Tom Braide’s Stockyard Opry Show in Fort Worth, Texas.
ANGEL LINDBERGH AT A GLANCE:
"...A powerfully impactive country-gospel new talent parading a handsome set of Church-stage ballads and toe-tappers. One can almost picture her on the wooden stage of a timber church building. The material is devotional, heart-warming and well-chosen and sung in a way that is believable."
-Paul Davis, noted author and founder of New Music Enterprises, UK
"...Her first public performance was at the age of four when she sang "Jesus Loves Me" in her father’s church. Thankfully, she has been singing and writing ever since."
- June 2004 Country Music Roundup (Europe’s largest country music magazine)
"These ten inspirationals show just how strong the lady is as a writer. And, yes, she does sing like an angel!"
- Pete Smith, British journalist and broadcaster, on ’How Far Have We Fallen?’

ANGEL LINDBERGH
When I was asked to do an article on her, I said, “Yes,” without giving it a second thought. Then I realized I could never do her justice, only God can do that! She has such a passion for God’s perfect will to be done, that sometimes she overlooks the talent that God has given her, and the anointing that follows her, where ever she may go. She and her husband, Mark is devoted to each other, to Lacey, (their daughter) and to God. Angel has been gifted with the ability to write most of her own songs, and I have watched in awe, as she has grown up and become a beautiful young woman, as well as a powerful woman of God! The anointing she has on her life is exciting and contagious! And if you are around her very long the excitement and the joy of the Lord will bubble over on you before you know it.
I’m proud to call her and her family my friends, for they are a source of strength that you hardly find anywhere in today’s world. So, all I can say about Angel is, “thank you, for touching my life.”
With much love and respect,
Pastor Carl Roye
