Television, Film and the level of crap they produce interest me a great deal...good music, dogs...okay, I'm kind of obsessed with my dogs...kind of. And My Ipod, (I WILL CREATE THE PERFECT PLAYLIST DAMMIT!)...and looking up random stuff on the internet. I love making lists but am not in the least bit organized. What is that about?

Eighties music is the BEST(Madonna,Micheal Jackson, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Cindi Lauper, DeBArge, Hall & Oates...) , some nineties music : (D' Angelo, Lauryn Hill, Fugees, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day,Stone temple Pilots,OutKast, Dave MAtthews, Janet Jackson, No Doubt, Alanis Morrisette,Beck, Erykah Badu, Brand New Heavies, RadioHead...), very little "today" music. LOVE John Mayer right now, Maroon 5 is ok, Gnarls Barkley too. Will forever LOVE Carol King,Marvin Gaye, U2, Chili Peppers, Miles Davis, Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder, LOVE Movie Soundtracks and musicals...is that dorky? Best Movie song ever? A tie between "Take my breath Away" by Berlin and "If you leave" by OMD. Love Jazz Music. When I want to smile, i listen to "Just Friends", bY Charlie Parker.. I love how music instantly reminds you of the best and the worst times of your life...what else does that so effectively? Anyway, I listen to just about everything that's acceptable by my standards.
Movie Musicals are the bomb... I'm a Star Wars, Lord of the Rings , Harry Potter fan, but not freak (Note the difference)...LOVE eighties movies...will watch anything with Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhall, or Derek Luke repeatedly. (Gotta Love the eye Candy, preferably talented eye candy) Will watch anything with river Phoenix, bless his soul... V for Vendetta, I Shot Andy Warhol, Howl's Moving Castle and Basquiat , i watch constantly...I'm very corny when it comes to romantic movies...love Bridget Jones's diary,Love Jones, the Truth about Cats & Dogs, Love & Basketball... the cheesiest movie I love has got to be CenterStage. (Ballet and a little bit of PG13 sex...does it get any better?) CLASSICS: Amadeus, Goodfellas, Grease, The Last Dragon, I'm gonna get you sucka, Legend, Muriel's Wedding,Hollywood shuffle, Malcolm X, Goonies, The Color Purple, Pretty in Pink,Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Dark Crystal,The Matrix,Pee- Wee's big Adventure, Cooley High, and oh yes, DIRTY DANCING. I could go on and on and on, but you're starting to get the idea...

LITTLE BRITAIN is the s**t! HIlarious. Addicted to Footballers Wives as well...not British, but might like to be. Still watching Sex & the City (It's my Duty!) Noah's Arc is my guilty pleasure..it's a gay version of Sex & the City but with seriously bad acting... Love E.R., South Park is funny again after like three years, Drawn Together is SICK, but I enjoy it...am ashamed to tell people this but yes, at my age I still watch the Real World. The Soup and Best Week Ever are pretty funny... LOVE the Sopranos, THe Simpsons is ETERNAL and I have meaning in my life because Golden Girls , Martin,Pee- Wee's Playhouse, The Cosby Show and Roseanne are in Syndication. Even though he should film in NYC, (we have way more dysfunctional dogs here...starting with mine!) The Dog Whisperer is cool too.

For some reason, I've read the Harry Potter books like 6 years too late...they're actually very good. (If they had come out when i was in Jr. HS, I would have been completely detached from reality...) Reading the FountainHead Again...read the Da Vinci Code like every other sucker...it was ok.Was really into Anne Rice in HS...love the occasional Harlequin Romance (insert naughty giggle) Seriously, I was kidding on that last one...I've only read just one... I used to sneak and read it in Junior HS... The Unbearable Lightness of Being...Autobiography of Malcolm X...American Psycho,The surrealist Manifesto, anything by Madeline L'Engle, Joyce Carol Oates, Toni Morrison or Judy Blume...anything by Nikki Giovanni, (We have the same birthday...she understands me)I write more than I read...with the exception of the obvious greats, I just like reading my stuff...and then constantly rewriting it!
My Grandmother is my hero...I Love you Gramma.
