I am here for Friends

About Me

I currently live in Eagle River, AK. We moved up here because CO was getting boring - 11 years in one place is just too long.
I've lived in 3 out of 4 of the largest US states now and not sure that I'll be making the 4th a home anytime in the future. But I'll be sure to visit Cali as I have several good friends and lots of family there.
At some time in my future I plan on going back to school (yuck, I hate tests!) to get a license in acupuncture. Until then I'll content myself with Qi Gong, Reiki, acupressure, kung fu, and caligraphy. The boyfriend, house, dog and cats keep me busy too.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you. :)
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

My Interests

Kung fu, acupuncture, dog walks (not moose hunts), chinese caligraphy (currently)

I'd like to meet:

interesting and intelligent people

What weird misc. thing are you?
Bunny/Pancake
I have no idea what you are.

You Are 8% Girly
Um... you're a guy, right? If not, you're the most boyish girl in the world.
And for you, that's probably the ultimate compliment. How Girly Are You?

Music:

Pretty much everything has merit, but there are always annoying exceptions. The song currently on my page is from a band member that I went to school with, and it doesn't suck so that's a bonus too. :)

Movies:

Things That Go Bump In The Night

Nice little humorous animated CGI 3D film, created by Joshua Beverage, a student from the Ringling School of Art and Design. Jet Li (i.e. Hero, Unleashed) movies kick ass. And I'll sit through most any good drama or action flick.

Television:

TV sucks, so we rent old episodes of Dead Like Me, Monk, King of Queens, Invader Zim, and Farscape. Cheezy, but highly entertaining - which is the whole point of TV, but now without commercials. Low calorie too. :P

Books:

fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and any exceptional writers - which I'll probably blog about.I was really bored at work one day (waiting for my co-worker B to show up) and I tried to make a list of all the books that I'd ever read. Thankfully I'm not that anal becuase I only got to about 100 or so before I quit. Oh well one more unfinished project.

Heroes:

NOT G.W. Bush.
