About Me

NEW ALBUM "A BOX FULL OF BOXES" OUT NOW! VISIT www.bendirecords.com TO PURCHASE YOUR COPY ON CD OR DOWNLOAD.
Solicium was formed at the end of 1994 by Niklas Sävenby and Tomas Janson both formerly of Minimal Paper Heroes, and by the summer 1995 they were joined by Tore Höghielm. Tore was once a member of Alfie and have also played a few years with swedish punk/indie legend Henrik Venant. Janson quit in 1998 and for many years the group remained a duo and studio project only.As many other bands in the genre, Solicium used a drum machine in the beginning, but in 2005 the (unchristened) machine was replaced by Magnus Berg, who also plays with Niklas in the now resurrected Minimal Paper Heroes.
Solicium started out as a pure goth band, but through the years their music has widened substantially.
Together with Minimal Paper Heroes they have Remedy Lane Studio where they have recorded their three albums; Solicium (2002), Follow (2004) and A box full of boxes (2008).
Their brand new album "A box full of boxes" is available NOW.
