I'd like to meet:
Born and raised in the blues bedrock of St. Louis, Missouri, J Lee was preordained for entertainment greatness. At the age of three, he was introduced to the musical overtures, crescendos and clefs of the classical piano. Nine disciplined years and three AMSA World Piano Competition bronze medals later, he solidified his musical prowess, at age 12, by performing in New York City's legendary Carnegie Hall. He went on to become first place winner of the Debose National Piano Competition and three-time winner of the Beethoven Young Artist Festival. While classical piano remained J Lee's primary focus, his athletic ability rose to prominence in track and field and basketball. In 1999, Indiana University's internationally-renowned Jacob's School of Music sought to refine J Lee, the musician, but it was the Department of Theatre and Drama that the added proverbial 'slash/slash' to his extensive repertoire. A thumb injury that sidelined J Lee from piano performance proved to be the symbolic route toward acting. It was during this recovery that he stumbled into the halls of theatre and the rest is dramatic history. In the fall of 2000, J Lee became a member, and ultimately, president of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. which later became inspiration for his first feature film. After graduating, in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and Theatre and Drama, J Lee, headed west. Destination: Los Angeles, California, the city of theatrical angels.Since 2005, J Lee has transformed the definition of a entertainer from a noun into a verb reserved only for describing those possessing extraordinary multi-talent. After arriving in Los Angeles with a mere $200 and his car, in which he slept, he landed his first job with the household-hit sitcom Family Guy created by comedian/animator extraordinaire, Seth McFarlane. He has worked with the likes of Jamie Foxx, Paul Hunter and appeared in the hit-movie Idlewild starring Outkast's own, Andre 3000. J Lee teamed with childhood friend and business mogul, Kevin Griffin, to establish Griffin & Lee Entertainment. He then went on to star in, edit, and produce the soundtrack for his directorial debut Battle For The Crown, which premiered at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. J Lee moved on from Family Guy acclaim and signed a feature film deal with Jada Pinkett Smith and Overbrook Entertainment. He will begin production on the highly anticipated film , 818 (a gritty police crime drama set against the backdrop of San Fernando Valley) in which he will star and stand as co-writer and producer. J Lee continues to work with McFarlane's Fuzzy Door Productions as a voice actor for Family Guy and recent-success satire American Dad!. From here, the sky's the figurative limit because when opportunity knocks you never know which of the many talents of musician/actor/writer/producer/director J Lee will undoubtedly answer each time.
