On their fourth album, "Tätä kaikki kaipaa", Pohjannaula combines finnish folk-rock with ska-punk style. Lead singer Samuli Mäkisalo has a carismatic barytone voice, combined with music that hits like a leather belt on a bare skin. This testosterone filled band brings the feeling of a mixed-gender-adrenalin-overdosed sauna party wherever they play.
Pohjannaula lies musically somewhere around Mano Negra, Flogging Molly and Sielun Veljet. Stated as the best live band in Finland, Pohjannaula is looking forward to spread their super-energetic full blast dance music all around the world.
