SAE Byron Bay offers a full range of digital media courses including Audio Engineering, Music and Entertainment Business, Creative Media and Digital Film Making. We offer internationally and industry recognized programs ranging from Certificate II to Degree, with the opportunity to continue to BA Honours and Master of Arts qualifications via our International Graduate College.
Our courses are accelerated, hands-on and practical, allowing you to complete a full Bachelor of Digital Media within just 2 years.
Our studio complex, known as "The Worlds Largest Recording Studio" (Apple Computer, 2003), is part of our $40 million university-style campus, located minutes from the stunning beaches of Byron Bay. Individual access to the studios and equipment of this world-class facility gives our graduates the competitive advantage required to find employment in the dynamic digital media sector.
Our audio engineering department boasts a wide variety of professional recording studios including:

Our digital film making students have exclusive access to a wide range of facilities including:

Avid Pro, Final Cut Pro and motion graphics computer systems
A full scale blue screen studio as well as Steadicam, location lights, portable track dolly and a range of cameras.

Our music and entertainment business students are instructed by experienced lecturers and professionals from the media industry using real-life examples and scenarios. Students also have access to mid-level audio studios and computer workstations.
