Terry Gilliam and I'm buying. And I'd love to have a beer with Kevin Kline. I hope I bump into Kristin Chenoweth one day (what a fireball) and Amon Tobin too (great great music...'Supermodified' is something else). Composer Thomas Newman, ever since I heard American Beauty and that someone once called him a "comic genius". Also, the great and FREE Amy X Newberg... have a laugh with Leonard Cohen, now that would be a thing... and Zappa too, especially given that he's dead. These are but a few who happen to tickle my soul.
And speaking of tickling my soul....

"Apollo"
Add to My Profile
This time-elapsed film of a total solar eclipse (above) was shot on location at the ancient Apollo Temple in Side, Turkey. In this short you'll witness an entire whiz by from sunrise to sunset, with the sun eclipsing above the temple around mid-day. I could have sworn time stood still for just a moment... and so I tried to enhance that sensation within the score. (turn off PROFILE MUSIC before viewing!)

"Tree"
Add to My Profile
Another total solar eclipse, shot from under a Divi-divi tree in Paraguana, Venezuela. This film was made by taking one frame every 5 seconds, for a duration of about six hours. The key was getting the eclipse to occur in the "hole" with no branches. This is my first experience scoring music to my own imagery. I remember it being quite a strange sensation with no director telling me what to do! (turn off PROFILE MUSIC before viewing)
