To our loyal friends/fans/drinking companions/dancing partners,
The past 3 years have been a blasty blast for all of us. We, as both a band and as individuals, have experienced so much in being a part of the scene we were in. As many of you know, Spit-Roast Muppet is not your conventional-type band. Since the day we decided to start this band, we took risks. Sometimes those risks landed us face-first on the floor.
But mostly, the main reason we have had so much fun with y'all is because of the risks that we took. Without the support of everyone who was so accepting of all of our tomfoolery, this experience wouldn't have been what it was.
For this, we want to thank you all!!!
As the cliché' phrase goes, "all good things must come to an end". SRM has run it's course, and we are ready to end this on a high note. We came, we conquered, we threw kegs around parking lots, we berated each other and had slow motion fights on stage, as well as fast motion fights on stage, we took accidental naps during third sets, and we managed to play ridiculous renditions of awesome party songs while still partying as hard as everyone there to see it!
We would like to thank the clubowners for putting up with our shenanigans and having faith in us even though we were so different.
And, of course, we must give ultimate props to 107 Productions for basically putting us out there for people to see! We are a fun bunch of guys, but…definitely not an easy bunch to manage! So, thank you to Scott Rush and Mike Arbeeny of 107 for giving us the freedom to do what we wanted to do.
We do have a bunch of shows left, with 9/27/08 being our last show.
Moving on from there, you can be sure we will all be involved in various different musical endeavors. We will keep this myspace site up and keep everyone informed on the goings on of everyone in the band.

SEPTEMBER 27 - FAREWELL SHOW - WHISKEY BAR - Hoboken, NJ **Advance tickets will be available at Whiskey Bar at a later date as this show will sellout.
Lastly, we have decided to play our last show at our "home away from home", The Whiskey Bar. This is where, as most of you know, we played our first show ever.

SPIT-ROAST MUPPET started out in May of 2005. A bunch of original musicians/best friends since High School, decided to get together and try to put an original twist on some cover songs. The idea was to bring something fresh to a seemingly stale market. After their first show, the band was signed to media 51, ,which, months later, merged with 107 Productions. In just a few months, SRM tickled the fancy of every major club in NJ. Many will say SRM busted the scene apart faster than any other coverband in the history of the world and even galaxy. To date, SRM is still known for their fresh spin, obscure songs, and ridiculous medly's that leave crowds smiling and dancing in puddles of their own urine!!
