A rant by David Brace I feel really bad for anyone that has never left there comfort zone. It is such a big world and most have naver left the town they live. Making new friends is the best thing when life gets boring. Even if it means droping your old friends . Some think change is scary. I feel change is good for the soul. Real friends don't turn there head to help someone that is in trouble. trouble can be drugs, a fight, or just help with there life. Life stoped being popular in high school, and I found that if your still in high school ten years after graduation then your not going to make it anywere in life. So branch out, and you'll find that your true old friends are either doing the same and making it in life, or the other choice, stay with the group, do what everyone esle is and run your self into the gutter to be a part of the cool high school party. One day I going to send the cool group a postcard from successville. With a picture of TRUE happyness. To each man his own path, or follow the click and ruin your life. In this world you only get one shot at being happy, and when I look back at my life I going to say: what a good idea it was to leave the "COOL PEOPLE BEHIND". So whomever reads this I guess you have to trust me when I say theres a much better life away from the pack. The pack may give you comfort, but one by one they will be gone. Then were will you be. 35 yers old and lonely because at 25 you didn't make a life for your self. You wait for a friend to help you along and tell you what, and what not to do, how to act and feel. I feel bad for anyone that doesn't see the truth abut life. I have been blessed to find real friends in a life surronded by snakes, i can't say I wish this for everyone but if theres good in your heart, do your thing and make a life for yourself, don,t ask for the opnion of others, do it for you. I have never heard a success story of a group of people. Bill Gates didn't create Microsoft with a group of high school friends. The world will slowly each you alive one group person at a time. So next time your serving a table or thinking of your dead end job just think what good can done by breaking away from from the norm and taking life by the horns. In this great country we all have the freedom to do whatever ewe put our minds to, so why let a silly thing like what everyone is going to think hold you back. You will go knowwhere in life waiting for someone else to tell you , you can do it. you should know you can do it. I have found that more often fe=riends will hold you back and judge you before they help you out. Its a sad truth, and untill you realize that the only good advise is the risk you take with no worry about anyones opnion. The potintial of all the friends I have had was huge. But I feel that as agroup we held each other back in a stupid compitation of spite. ANYONE THAT HAS WENT THERE OWN WAY HAS MADE A DAM GOOD LIFE FOR THEMSELFS. SO WILL YOU BE A KING OR A KINGS MAN. I AM A KING.SO I WENT TO FIND MY KINGDOM. ITS NOT EASY BUT LIFE IS MUCH BETTER. ANYONE WITH HAVE A BRAIN SHOULD DO THE SAME. ALL THE POTENTIOL AND NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT BUT A OLD GROUP OF MEN AND WOMEN THAT ARE GOING TO FAIL. BE YOURSELF AND NOT YOUR BUDDY. STAY WITH THE GROUP AND FAIL. SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR YOUR CHILDREN, BRANCH OUT AND BE SOMEONE. These are my thoughs right or wrong? I guess time will tell.
