Songwriter, instrumentalist since I was 19... Play folk, blues, jazz, progressive,pop,whatever....Learned Merle Travis style finger picking at 20, and have continued in that style most my life....works for all venues....originally started on a banjo, went to a 12 string, then mandolin, hammer dulcimer,and back to 6 string. My style is a multiple cross between folk(Merle Travis style), blues,(fast or slow),Tommy Emmanuel picking with harmonics, and anything new and different as life progresses and new innovative styles interest me.
