He was the voice behind the local smash-hit “Ballisticâ€, which has gotten plenty of praise from local fans, garageband.com, and other various Internet sites. He has written, arranged and produced all of his music. In 2008, J.A.M.C has returned with his free songs titled, the Ex-Crush EP.
Growing up in Ohio, J.A.M.C has been talking (let alone singing) since the ripe age of 5. Although he is known to be shy at times, after warming up to a crowd there is no stopping him. “I feel like another person on stage, its fun to be someone else for a while.†J.A.M.C explains.
Inspired by productions from musical geniuses the Neptune’s and other various artists; J.A.M.C invested in a keyboard, microphone, and computer software to create his own vision of music. “I like to make whatever comes to mind, I love playing [keyboard] by ear.†says the singer.
A buzz was created at a 2007 high school talent show when J.A.M.C performed his song “Ballistic†for an assorted crowd. After not ranking in the talent show, all was not lost when dozens of people could not get the catchy tune of their heads.
Pop/R&B will influence J.A.M.C’s new project. The EP will also reflect the characteristics of the singer we all know and love.
J.A.M.C hopes to accomplish permanence in the music world by staying true to what music is and being true to himself. “I always plan to be involved in music in some kind of way, it’s [music] in my heart.†Having said that, we are less likely to see J.A.M.C fade anytime soon.
