"Fuckin' Right Bitch. You're listening to Them's Fightin' Words...Pirate Fuckin' Metal", has become the credo accompanying Them's Fightin' Words on each double edged, sword-swinging assault they deliver from show to show, venue to venue. Their battlecry of "Pirate Fuckin' Metal" is a self described musical style blending elements of technical hardcore, punk, metal and rock. It is further defined by crunching melodic guitars, technically unique drumming and explosive vocals. Known for their unmatched live show, Them's Fightin' Words performs with a constant level of intensity, speed, and absolute tightness. They formed in the fall of 2003 in Southwestern, Ontario and have been steadily carving their name into the hardcore/punk scene ever since. "Their overwhelming stage presence, tightness, musical skill and balanced fusion of punk, rock, metal and hardcore made us forget about any other band that had played that night." (Adam Button, 'Eyeopener Magazine')
In the summer of 2004, Them's Fightin' Words recorded their first album "Subject to Classification".The seven song E.P. was recieved well and even made it to Canadian metal god - Jon Thor (of the eighties band Thor...fuckin' right!), who used music from it for his new feature film "The Intercessor". A video was also shot for "Land of Me" that appears on the DVD.
Them's Fightin' Words is currently writing new material for an upcoming full length CD that will be avialble in the fall of 2005. Look for them as they march out of hell and accross the newly darkened earth, look for them as they raise the "Jolly Roger" high, look for them as they bring the pirate fuckin' metal to you...FEAR THE PIRATE FUCKIN' METAL...BITCH
