'CUH-ven' sounds like 'oven', man.

About Me

sorry, but i've put down finnegan's wake for the time being. i look at it as life-long endeavor, you know, a marathon -- if i were to keep it up at a full sprint i'd blow out both my knees and end up barely hobbling through hardy boys adventures for the rest of my days. so no more high-brow "about me" section. i'm reading some pynchon right now, but it's the crying of lot 49 and that barely counts, right? otherwise... what do you need to know about me? i'm learning to be better about answering questions, so ask away. i'm also working on doing more asking. i try to pay attention to the present moment, but don't always do such a good job. i'm currently beating the robots at online catan about 65-70% of the time.

My Interests

riding my bike. settlers of catan. uwajimaya. kinder eggs. places far. places near. music for 18 musicians. the conet project. layers upon layers upon layers. keeping my eyes open. being nice.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

It's not like I'm Valentine's Day bashing, because I'm not. That's a tired take, and I don't agree with it at all, really. But flipping through radio stations in the morning, I happened on Houst...
