Inspired by her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she moved to California to follow her dream, and to keep a promise. That promise, was that their sacrifices, meaning more than anything to her, would not go in vain.
Courtney's prominence in front of the camera have opened many doors for her. Liveliness and unpredictability are to be expected of any venue headlined by her. Goldie's vibrant personality dare crowds to keep up with her up-tempo style.
She can be seen co starring on the VH1 hit show of "Charm School" with Monique.
It was a competition between women from both seasons of Flavor Flav’s show. The winner won the title of “Charm School Queen†and won a 50 grand cash prize.
The women “were trained in proper etiquette and had their social skills put to the testâ€. “Each competed in challenges testing poise and grace and were judged on their ability to handle pressure in difficult situations.â€
By now we all know Saaphyri won. But if you missed any of the episodes,VH1 will be re-running the show for a while.
It has proven to be another huge success for VH1 so catch Goldie there. Or keep checking here from time to time.

My perspective on life
Trust in God for all things, for real. Remember God can change your life in an instant. I enjoy making other people happy, no matter what. I love making them feel that their problems are not that bad and that all negative things will pass in time. Life is short and we have to understand that things big and small are put in place to make us stronger. My life has not been easy. I lost my mother at age 14 and was raised by a single father. I learned to laugh as much as possible and only cry when necessary.
My goals
My goals have changed over the years, but one thing that has remained constant is my wish to be successful at everything I do. I want to become one of the funniest comedians on the planet and as soon as we lock down space travel, the galaxy. I need to attack stage, television, and film. I would love to have my own talk show and/or sitcom. I can see it now “Cooking Chicken with Goldie†or maybe fried fish, or collard greens, or grits, or just something greasy. I would love to have a flat stomach, and I have been saving up for my ab lounger but I keep spending the money on food and alcohol. I want a fine, sexy, successful, intelligent husband, but I will settle for an ex-con with a good job!
Things I would like to see happen.
I miss the Bill Clinton days when all everyone thought about was sex. I would love to see HIV/AIDS completely whipped out from the planet. Way too many people are dying for nothing. I wish that all kids could get the same education, no matter if their parents are doctors or janitors. I would like to see all black people come together and have each other’s backs, and stop hating on what the next man or woman got. Black men need to stop going to prison for years for non-violent crimes, that shit makes me sick. No wonder I can’t get a good man, his ass is serving 15 to 25 years right now. Oh yeah, and for all down low brothers to just give it up and admit they are gay, STOP FAKING my brother.
Goldie’s tried and true advice.
Always be yourself, no matter what. Never let others dictate what you do or who you become. As long as no one gets hurt, have as much fun as possible even at work. Remember to stop and smell the roses, before you know it, life will pass you by. Have as much safe sex as possible, one day you’ll be 60 and you won’t get booty calls anymore. Love the hell out of yourself. No one can do it like you can!
