-DON'T TAKE US TOO SERIOUSLY-REMEMBER-THE NAME OF THE LEAGUE IS AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING-COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED-
Amateur Championship Wrestling is a wrestling league that is actually three leagues in the making, but this last revision of our league is our last, this is what it is going to be forever.
First we were the BWA, which stood for Basement Wrestling Association and it was comprised of the exact same people as the ACW is now, but it was just us random guys in a basement trying to live out what we had seen and loved on the television, trust me, it didn't work out well, but it was what it was and a video of those old days will be available on here in no time and may already be here.
Then came the EBW, which stood for Extreme Basement Wrestling, i don't really know why we went threw a name change like that, i mean why did we throw in the extreme, we weren't that extreme, hell we weren't extreme at all, we did throw in a foot stool match and a rubber dagger match, but i mean, come on, thats just sad, that was all just another example of a league that wasn't a league, we just were having fun in our own right, also a video of this may be available on here as well and might already be on here.
But then finally we got serious, we wanted to get down to business and actually start our league that we wanted to start, with real characters, belts, entrances, themes, all that stuff that one would need to start a wrestling league, oh and although us fans might not want to admit it, but we were prepared to write scripts as well, we needed stories people, and thats how its done so don't haggle us on that.
And so was the birth of the ACW, the Amateur Championship Wrestling League, and this is its official website, why did we choose myspace, because it was free and most of us were already on it anyways, we also have an email account set up as well for any contact that one would want with us other than myspace and that is at [email protected].
So where do we go from here, well we build our league up, get this site up and running with our themes, our videos, our profiles, our title histories, all of that stuff that a league would have, so although we may not be a lot right now, you just wait, you'll see us in the future, bigger and badder.
