DOWNWARD FUCKING SPIRAL

We are Downward Spiral, and we are a 5 piece hard rock/metal band from the southside of Chicago. Evergreen Park to be exact. We are a handful of metal lovers that just want to jam. We cover songs from bands like: Metallica, Pantera, System Of A Down, Megadeth, Disturbed, Rage Against The Machine, Black Sabbath, and others. We also have our own original songs. We are always up for playng new shows. We dont care about getting paid but that is always a bonus. So leave us a comment or message and let us know. Just try and give us some forward notice so that we have time to get ready. We are currently working on getting some shirts out for all of our fans. So once they are ready to be released we will let you know. Also any band that is intrested in getting a show together we will be more than happy to get something going. Band genre does not matter. We have played with punk, emo, hardcore, metal, and other rock bands, so we are open to getting a combination of all music.
Band Origins We started out back in 2004 at our local high school. The band started out with Jason, Matt, and Ryne. They started to jam out to various tunes and started writing originals. The original singer in the band was named Joe and after 1 or 2 rehersals the band knew he wasnt the one. So Adam came into the picture after Matt and Jason offered him a spot. So these 4 began to play. So after that, they aquired the guitarist Mike. As this was happening Ryne went his own way. So the band looked for a replacement. They experimented with a few options and joined forces with Jeff. It was this lineup that DS made their high school debut. But soon after that. Jeff had some personal issues and decided to split with the band. Which brought Ryne back into the picture. Jason and Ryne's brother Daniel soon began to jam with the band and continues to this day. So now Downward Spiral is stronger than ever and ready to fucking rockk!
